The Learning Support Team of the Jockey Club “Diversity at Schools” Project successfully hosted the Annual Professional Sharing (APS) 2026 at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong on 4 July 2026. The event brought together approximately 167 participants from 45 project schools, along with academics, NGO partners, and education professionals, demonstrating a shared commitment to advancing inclusive and neuroinclusive education. The programme featured keynote presentations, professional dialogue, and collaborative discussions on educational transformation and inclusive education.
We were honoured to welcome Professor Chan Ka Shing Kevin, Acting Dean of FEHD, EdUHK, as the opening guest. His presence highlighted the importance of fostering inclusive practices and strengthening professional capacity across schools.
Key moments included an insightful presentation by Dr Chim Ho Yeung, Hastings, from the Department of Special Education and Counselling at EdUHK, on educational transformation across five core development domains. Additionally, the VARK booklets received an overwhelming response, demonstrating educators' strong interest for practical tools that facilitate differentiated instruction and diverse learning needs.
