  • Designing a Communication Soft Skills Resource Pack to Support Students in Learning
Effective communication is a fundamental skill that influences every aspect of life, from personal relationships to professional success, and in psychology, it plays a crucial role in shaping how individuals understand and interact with others. Strong oral communication skills enable people to express themselves clearly, build confidence, and reduce social anxiety, while for students, mastering these skills can lead to lower stress levels, improved academic performance, and better emotional well-being. This project focuses on developing practical resources, such as interactive workshops, ebooklets, and activity ecards, to help students strengthen their oral communication skills in an engaging and supportive way, incorporating real-world scenarios that prepare them for diverse social and professional settings. By blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on exercises, the initiative ensures students not only understand communication principles but also apply them confidently, reducing speaking anxiety, improving interpersonal relationships, and enhancing overall confidence. Whether in classroom discussions, job interviews, or everyday conversations, strong communication skills empower individuals to express themselves clearly and connect meaningfully with others, providing the foundation for students to thrive in both their studies and future endeavors.
