To consider the role of a mentor
or peer reviewer in conducting lesson observation
and analysis within the context of the new Key
Learning Areas (KLAs) of the Hong Kong curriculum;

To raise awareness, in the context of lesson
conferencing, of what it means to be a good subject
teacher and a good mentor in relation to the
Hong Kong KLAs;

To foster the skills of structuring and designing
a productive post-lesson conference in regard
to subject expertise.
