The
setting is a P.5 mathematics lesson. The intended
learning outcome of the lesson is for the pupils
to be able to calculate the area of a triangle.
During the lesson, the pupils were very responsive
and were keen to answer the teacher's questions.
The lesson flowed very smoothly and the lesson
teacher had reason to feel that this has been
a successful lesson. However, one of the observing
teachers asked whether all the pupils were
actually learning. |
