Aim: Provide counselling on issues related to learning, life stage transition, emotional and behavioral crisis. Enhance better understanding of parents and family members so that they can acquire new ways to guide and communicate with the clients and to promote the laters’ holistic wellbeing.
Serving Groups: Clients of all age, including those with:
special education needs, interpersonal issues, personal growth/ emotional issues, provision of career counselling, sex education for teenagers/ parents, guidance for clients with addictive behaviours etc.
Scope of Service:
1. Individual assessment
1. Individual assessment: explanation of assessment included (90 minutes)
2. Individual counselling: 1 session per week or every 2 weeks (50 minutes)
3. Out-reach service to schools and community settings

- Resolve behavioral and emotional crisis through the use of different counselling techniques
- Facilitate development of interpersonal and communication skills, aim to improve relationship with family members, friends and co-workers

1. Individual assessment: explanation of assessment included (90 minutes)
*Certified professional counsellor (> 3 years of experience): $1,000
Certified professional counsellor (< 3 years of experience): $ 600
Student from the MAEC program practicum: free of charge
2. Individual counselling: 1 session per week or every 2 weeks (50 minutes)
*Certified professional counsellor (> 3 years of experience): $700 per session
Certified professional counsellor (< 3 years of experience): $400 per session
