Overview

In this proposed Project, I-WELL and FSTE will develop the first sector-wide Structured Professional Development Programme for self-financing tertiary sector. It is hoped that multifaceted topics would enable staff members to consolidate/practise and capture the knowledge and skills holistically. Needs analysis and timely evaluation in programme development phase would ensure that the training is responsive to the needs of the post-secondary education sector and fits for purpose.

Objectives

1. To improve awareness of mental health issues of students among staff and the whole self-financing tertiary education sector;
2. To promote positive mental health in self-financing tertiary institutions;
3. To identify the direction and scope of Structured Professional Development Programme;
4. To design and develop the Structured Professional Development Programme;
5. To deliver and enhance the Structured Professional Development Programme.
