Engagement with Indonesian Education Stakeholders
From 27–31 January 2026, Dr. Ju Seong Lee, Associate Head (Internationalization), traveled to Indonesia to meet key education leaders and explore ways to strengthen English language teaching.
During the visit, he met with officials from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education to discuss teacher development and innovative teaching approaches for schools. There was strong interest in establishing a joint initiative to help students improve their English skills.
He also met with academics from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and Universitas Sebelas Maret, as well as representatives from an AI company, to discuss potential collaboration in teacher training, research exchange, and educational technology development.
These conversations mark an important step in building partnerships that support teachers and learners in Indonesia and align with ELE’s goal of advancing language education globally.
