𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 & 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐮𝐤 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬
On 4 Feb, 2026, we were pleased to host ten Korean undergraduate students from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), a leading global institution in linguistics and humanities. This visit served to strengthen our partnership through meaningful academic and cultural exchange, fostering mutual understanding and laying the groundwork for future collaborative projects.
During the exchange, Mrs. Sung Hee Yoon (LML) shared insights on how Korean popular culture influences language learning in Hong Kong. Mr. Denis Wong led a comparative discussion on educational approaches and local English teaching contexts, while EdUHK doctoral students engaged the guests in dialogue about innovation and the role of AI in English language education. Professor Hans Ladegaard welcomed the delegation and expressed a shared commitment to deepening our institutional ties.
