A Staff Professional Development Workshop entitled “Theory and Practice of Catering for Learner Diversity” conducted by Dr Lai Meng Choo for Shek Wu Hui Public School was held on December 21, 2021. The workshop introduced some effective teaching strategies to cater for learner differences (such as teacher-student interactions, the design of differentiated worksheets, self- and peer assessments etc.) through observing video clips of practical examples of different subjects. Teachers were engaged in group activities to discuss ways to address the diverse needs of students in the teaching process.
