Over 1,000 school leaders participated in the 1st Hong Kong School Principals' Conference, organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Education, Hong Kong Subsidised Secondary Schools Council and Subsidised Primary Schools Council. Professor Arthur K C Li, GBS, JP, Secretary for Education and Manpower, addressed the audience at the Opening Ceremony held on 19 March 2004.
The completion of HKIEd Arthur Samy Teacher Education & Academic Exchange Centre at Northeast Normal University marks a significant milestone in collaboration between the University and HKIEd. The Centre facilities with 208 rooms, will accommodate HKIEd students during Putonghua immersion.
