A number of colourful "Monkey" kites have been seen flying in the sky above the Institute's Tai Po campus. Ten teams of secondary and primary students participated in "The Year of the Monkey Kites Competition", one of the highlights of a programme organised by the Department of Creative Arts on 21 February 2004. Prceeds from the fun-filled events contributed to the setting up of scholarships for the Department's training of art and music teachers.
