Introduction

Marking the 10^th Anniversary of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK)’s retitling, this roundtable dialogue is anchored in Hong Kong’s distinctive educational mission and EdUHK’s international development initiatives. The Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies (SSPS) is actively advancing interdisciplinary policy-focused exchange, while highlighting the pivotal role of youth in global development under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Bringing together Consuls General as guest panellists, the event welcomes faculty, educators, scholars and students as its key audience. It bridges public-policy learning from the classroom to real-world global-connectivity-focused international practice, empowering young talents to cultivate a global vision, cross-cultural competence and practical policy-analysis capacity for future regional co-operation work.
