李昂博士

Dr. LI Ang, Leo is a Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies at the Education of University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Prior to joining EdUHK, he was a Research Assistant Professor at the Lingnan University. He obtained his PhD in Finance from the University of Kentucky, MSc and BSc in Financial Engineering from City University of Hong Kong and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).

Dr. Li's teaching covers sustainable finance, household finance, investments, financial analysis, venture capital and private equity, and big data analytics for accounting and ESG. He has taught extensively in postgraduate and undergraduate programmes and has served as a curriculum committee member for several master's and doctoral programmes, as well as a student advisor.

His research interests include corporate innovation, artificial intelligence and machine learning in finance, and mutual funds. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Financial Markets, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and Applied Economics Letters. His studies have been covered by local media including RTHK, Ming Pao, and the Hong Kong Economic Times, and he has contributed commentary to Sing Tao Daily.
