Savor Hub (Apr): Open-top bus tour and Bamboo steamer making workshop
This April, Savor Hub presents two activities to explore Hong Kong—from an active adventure to a relaxing craft: an Open-Top Bus Tour and a Bamboo Steamer Making Workshop.
Activity 1: Open-Top Bus Tour
Have you ever paid attention to the scenery while riding the bus?
Whether crossing over bridges or passing through tunnels, these views are often overlooked. We specially invite transportation enthusiast Mr. Lam Siu Wing to lead us on an open-top bus tour across Hong Kong, allowing us to savor the urban landscapes we usually miss. Discover the hidden stories behind Hong Kong’s transportation history and learn fascinating facts about local buses. Let's rediscover Hong Kong from a different angle!
Activity 2: Bamboo Steamer Making Workshop
What are some traditional crafts commonly found in Hong Kong?
Savor Hub invites bamboo craft artist Miss Lam Ka Yu to share the history of Hong Kong’s bamboo craftsmanship, the spirit of artisans behind it, and the cultural significance of bamboo in South China. During the workshop, you will learn various creative bamboo weaving techniques and use different colored bamboo strips to craft your own unique patterns. Join us to experience the charm of Hong Kong's traditional crafts!
