Have you ever heard of Hinamatsuri (雛祭り), a Girls' Day or Dolls' Day of Japan?
We will learn about the history of Hinamatsuri customs and see the influence of ancient Chinese tradition, discover how contemporary Japanese people celebrate the day, and discuss its relevance to Hong Kong cultures.
Then, we will have an origami workshop and make your own Hina dolls!
Although the event is about Girls' Day, students of all genders are welcome.
