OCE0007: CLOC: Playful Learning (Melbourne Trip)
Course Title

CLOC: Playful Learning (Melborne Trip)

Offering Unit Department of Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Course Synopsis

The proposed activities aim to enhance students' educational and social contributions.

From an educational standpoint, hands-on experiences and networking opportunities with early childhood education (ECE) professionals will deepen students' understanding of play-based learning and its practical applications in early childhood settings. This strengthened educational foundation will empower students to become reflective, innovative, and knowledgeable early childhood education professionals.

On a socio-cultural level, the activities encourage students to engage with diverse communities, promoting essential interpersonal skills such as communication and cultural awareness. These social-emotional competencies will enable students to make meaningful contributions to the field and the communities they serve, positioning them as socially conscious leaders in early childhood education.
