Event Highlights: Robotics Innovation: University Exploration Camp
On 4 November 2026, 48 secondary school students joined the “Robotics Innovation: University Exploration Camp”, an immersive half-day taste of university life hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at The Education University of Hong Kong. The camp opened with a hands-on robot-arm remote-control challenge led by Ms. XIE Yishan Ellen and EdUHK Robotics Team members (Oscar, Hero, Candy and Carter), where participants remote-controlled a robot arm to draw a smiling face.

Following the challenge, Dr. Cheung Ho Yin, the Programme Leader for BSc(AI&EdTech), introduced EdUHK’s AI-related undergraduate programmes — BSc(AI&EdTech), BSc(AIET)&BEd(PM) and BSc(AIET)&BEd(ICT&PSci). The camp then concluded with a guided tour of the University Library and campus.
