Event Highlights: MIT Departmental Orientation for Undergraduate Students 2026/27
The Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (MIT) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) successfully held the Departmental Orientation 2026/27 on 28 August 2026, warmly welcoming students enrolled in the BSc(AIET)&BEd(PM), BSc(AIET)&BEd(ICT&PSci), and BSc(AI&EdTech) programmes.
The orientation commenced with a welcoming speech, followed by programme briefings that introduced the key features, curriculum highlights, and learning opportunities of the three undergraduate programmes. Students also attended a dedicated session on Field Experience and Internship, where they gained valuable insights into professional practicum arrangements, internship opportunities, and experiential learning requirements throughout their studies.
The orientation concluded with Meetings between Academic Advisors and Advisees, allowing students to establish early connections with their Academic Advisors and receive guidance on study planning, academic development, and university life.
The Department wishes all new students a rewarding and enriching university experience and looks forward to witnessing their achievements and growth throughout their studies at MIT and EdUHK.
