Event Highlight: Kau Yan College Visits EdUHK’s Department of Mathematics and Information Technology
A group of teachers and students from Fanling Kau Yan College recently visited The Education University of Hong Kong to gain a deeper understanding of university life and the programme offerings of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology. Dr. Yee Tat Leung Tony, Associate Head of the department, received the visiting group and delivered a welcome speech.
Subsequently, undergraduate programme leaders Dr Cheng Kell Hiu Fai and Dr Cheung Ho Yin Haoran, and associate programme leader Ms Xie Yishan Ellen, introduced the structure and future development trends of the undergraduate curricula to the visiting teachers and students.
The students were then guided by library staff on a tour of the EdUHK Library, during which they experienced the Future Classrooms and had the opportunity to try on 3D glasses to explore the Extended Reality Room. This visit effectively enhanced exchange and strengthened the connection between the two schools.
