Primary Science Thematic Seminar – Artificial Intelligence and Recent Developments in Science Education (New)
We attended the “Primary Science Thematic Seminar – Artificial Intelligence and Recent Developments in Science Education (New)” on 28 February 2026, co-organized by the EDB’s Innovation Technology Education Division and the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education. Held at Chi Lin Buddhist Primary School, Dr. Davy Tsz Kit Ng from our department delivered a talk to connect AI and science education. Presentations and school-sharing sessions explored practical examples of AI in primary science lessons and discussed theories and classroom strategies to build AI literacy among primary teachers. The event provided valuable classroom-ready ideas, strengthened teachers’ confidence in integrating AI into science teaching, and sparked collaboration opportunities for future STEAM initiatives.
