6. Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education
The Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education, publishes original manuscripts, reviews, and information about association activities. Its purpose is to provide a forum for consideration of issues and for exchange of information and ideas about research and practice in early childhood teacher education. JECTE welcomes research reports, position papers, essays on current issues, reflective reports on innovative teacher education practices, letters to the editor and book reviews.

5. Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education
The Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education (JMTE) is devoted to research that seeks to improve the education of mathematics teachers and develop teaching methods that better enable mathematics students to learn. The journal covers all stages of the professional development of mathematics teachers and teacher-educators. It serves as a forum for examining institutional, societal, and cultural influences that impact on teachers' learning and ultimately their students’ learning.
Papers are published in one of three JMTE sections. Research papers reflect the main topics of the journal and go beyond local or national interest. Mathematics Teacher Education Around the World focuses on programs and issues of national significance that may be of wider interest or influence. Reader Commentary consists of short contributions that may offer a response to a published paper or develop an idea. The journal also publishes critiques of relevant reports and books.

6. Journal of Science Teacher Education
The Journal of Science Teacher Education is the official journal of the Association for Science Teacher Education. It serves as a forum for disseminating research and theoretical position statements concerning the preparation and in-service education of science teachers. It adds to what we know about science teaching and learning and, most importantly, serves as a catalyst for thoughtful discussion concerning the enhancement of education for science teachers.
The journal features pragmatic articles that offer immediate ways to improve conditions in classroom methods, in-service workshops, and teacher recruitment and retention. In addition, the journal publishes data-driven research articles that show evidence of the effectiveness of teaching strategies, interventions, etc.

7. Journal of Teacher Education
The Journal of Teacher Education provides a vital forum for considering practice, policy, and research in teacher education. 8. Journal of Technology and Teacher Education
The Journal of Technology Education provides a forum for scholarly discussion on topics relating to technology education. Manuscripts should focus on technology education research, philosophy, and theory. In addition, the Journal publishes book reviews, editorials, guest articles, comprehensive literature reviews, and reactions to previously published articles.
 

9. Studying Teacher Education
Studying Teacher Education is an internationally refereed journal that welcomes papers from authors who have an interest in research and practice in teaching and teacher education. The main purpose of the journal is to foster research and dialogue in the study of teaching and teacher education practices, with a view to encouraging and widely disseminating such research and dialogue. In so doing, the journal is a forum for educators who work in a wide variety of settings and who are seeking to make substantial contributions to (i) self-study research, design and practice, (ii) the knowledge base of teaching and teaching about teaching, (iii) enhanced understandings of learning to teaching, (iv) the nature of teacher education, (v) the professional development of teachers and teacher educators. The journal seeks to create opportunities for teachers and teacher educators to publish empirical and conceptual research that advances our understanding of the complex work of teaching and teacher education.

10. Teacher Development
Teacher Development is a fully refereed international journal publishing articles on all aspects of teachers' professional development. It acts as a forum for critical and reflective attention to practice in teacher development and aims thereby to contribute to the quality of professional development. The journal takes a 'whole-career' view of teacher development, and work from both international and inter-professional perspectives is welcome. Articles may deal with teacher development in varying political and professional contexts, and may be in a variety of styles, in keeping with the diversity of activity in professional development. The journal carries accounts of personal experience, evaluations of teacher development policies and practices, research reports and theoretical discussions. 

11. Teacher Education and Special Education
Teacher Education and Special Education (TESE) is the journal of the Teacher Education Division of the Council for Exceptional Children. Its purpose is to publish scholarly work that pertains to teacher preparation for special education. Examples of manuscripts that would be considered appropriate for submission include:

  • Data-based applied research
  • Reviews of the literature
  • Position papers intended to stimulate critical discussion
  • Reports of best practices and innovations that are grounded in the research
  • Data-based reports of basic research with direct, well-specified implications for practice

12. Teacher Education Quarterly
Most issues of the Teacher Education Quarterly contain both thematic articles that have been solicited by or on behalf of the editor and the Editorial Board and referred articles chosen from among manuscripts submitted to TEQ from the field. Themes for various issues of the Quarterly are selected by the editor with the advice and consent of the Editorial Board, and in many cases guest editors are appointed to coordinate the solicitation and editing of the thematic articles.Manuscripts on any and all scholarly topics in the field of teacher education are welcomed. All manuscripts received by the journal are reviewed by at least three members of the Panel of Readers prior to any decision concerning acceptance, editing, and publication.

13.The Teacher Educator
The Teacher Educator is focused on current issues, research, and program innovations that augment teacher preparation and continued professional development for educators. The journal serves as an international, peer-reviewed forum for stimulating discussion among educators who seek to challenge existing boundaries in the field. Articles cover a wide range of topics, including:

Educational psychology and classroom applications
Disposition assessment in teacher education

14 Teaching and Teacher Education
Teaching and Teacher Education aims to enhance theory, research, and practice in teaching and teacher education through the publication of papers concerned with the description of teaching, teaching effectiveness, the factors that determine teachers' thought processes and performances, and the social policies that affect teachers in all aspects and stages of their careers. The journal will recognize that many disciplines - psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, political science, history, and philosophy - have important contributions to make to the achievement of its goals, and the Editors welcome contributions from them. In the absence of any dominant paradigm, the journal will allow varied approaches to offer empirical research, theoretical and conceptual analyses, and reviews (both qualitative and quantitative syntheses) of high quality. Papers should be concerned primarily with teachers, teaching, or teacher education at whatever grade, level, or whatever subject-matter, at any stage of the teacher's career.

15 Journal of Education for Teaching
The Journal of Education for Teaching is an established international refereed periodical which publishes original contributions on the subject of teacher education. The journal interprets 'teacher education' in the widest sense, to include initial training, in-service education and staff development. The editors welcome scholarly discussions of new issues, reports of research projects or surveys of research work in particular fields, and contributions to current debates in teacher education throughout the world, generally or on specific issues.

16. Comparative Education
Comparative Education is an international journal of educational studies that contains up-to-date information with analyses of significant problems and trends world-wide. The journal focuses specifically on the implications of comparative studies in the formation and implementation of policies in education, and social, national, and international development. Comparative Education welcomes contributions from associated disciplines which affect educational policy decisions: government, management, sociology.

17. Comparative Education Review
Comparative Education Review, the journal of the Comparative and International Education Society, investigates education throughout the world and the social, economic, and political forces that shape it. Founded in 1957 to advance knowledge and teaching in comparative education studies, the Review has since established itself as the most reliable source for the analysis of the place of education in countries other than the United States.

18. Compare
Comparative and international studies in education enjoy new popularity. They illuminate the effects of globalisation and post-structural thinking on learning for professional and personal lives. Compare publishes such research as it relates to educational development and change in different parts of the world. It seeks analyses of educational discourse, policy and practice across disciplines, and their implications for teaching, learning and management. The editors welcome papers which reflect on practice from early childhood to the end of adult life, review processes of comparative and international enquiry and report on empirical studies. All papers should include a comparative dimension. Case studies of under-researched aspects of the field and countries about which little is known are of particular interest.
