Dr. Che Man Wai is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Key Research Area of Teachers and the Teaching Profession, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. She received an MA in Psychology of Education from the Institute of Education, University of London and she has recently completed her doctoral study at the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong. Her doctoral research examined the effects of mentoring on teacher mentors’ development of expertise in teaching. She has been involved in teacher study and teacher education research since 2000 and worked in the Faculty of Education, the University of Hong Kong before joining the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her research interests include teaching and learning, mentoring, teacher professional development, teacher beliefs and teacher identities.
