The saying "Rome was not built in a day" aptly applies to education. As early childhood education is the starting point for holistic and lifelong learning, it has a profound influence on a child's future attitudes and educational development.

Institute's students studying early childhood education are fully aware of the important task ahead and are always keen to advance their knowledge and broaden their experience. The Institute is privileged in having continuing support from the community and education sectors. The Hongkong Bank Foundation is one of our staunchest supporters. For three consecutive years, the Foundation has sponsored students from early childhood education on study visits to the mainland, focusing on music, dance and visual / fine arts. Some 160 students have benefited from this valuable opportunity to immerse themselves in the cultural context of mainland early childhood teaching. The visits have greatly advanced the students' subject knowledge and pedagogy skills.
