Wendy cites the immersion programme in New Zealand, full of fond memories, as the climax of the PGDE Programme. "I really enjoyed the experiences of teaching and learning in New Zealand. Even though I am a native English speaker, the immersion programme gave me the opportunity to explore a different educational system and allowed me to be exposed to a variety of different teaching strategies. The fact that I had a wonderful home-stay family helped me discover other aspects of life in the country."

Graduation is not the conclusion but rather the prologue to Wendy's story in realising her passion for pursuing a fulfilling teaching career.
