HKIEd Joy of Learning No.2, 2005

配合自我評審的機制，本校由二零零五年九月起，實施新的學術架構，使運作更為精簡。新架構簡化了管理和簕報的層次，有助提升課程規劃和素質保證的效率和效能，讓校方能更迅速回應教育界和廣大社會的需要。而且，學生更可以在所屬的課程事務處得到「一站式」的服務。

新學術架構的重點如下：
 
◆ 三個副校長的職位減為兩個，分別負責學術和行政事宜。
◆ 增設兩個協理副校長的職位（由教員兼任的職位），分別負責促進與發展學習及課程與素質保證。
◆ 四個學院改為兩個，即是教育專業及幼兒教育學院與文理學院。
◆ 成立中央的「學校體驗事務處」，專責統籌所有學生實習事宜。
◆ 十二個學系重組為八個，以綜合學科領域的專業發展。
