龍教授就教育方面發表的一些言論 :
教師地位
● 一個文明的社會，或有稍微思考「人文」和「未來」的社會，應該深刻地知道：如果社會要有人文的根，而文化又要有一點厚度和沉澱的話，那麼，這個社會顯然要非常尊敬中小學的老師，而且要對他們有好的回報。 因為中小學老師對社會非常重要，所以我今天特別來這裏。
 
愛國教育
● 九七以後，香港教育面臨不同的情況，要自由開放？還是愛國主義、民族主義？ 如果校長、老師、教育官員也搞不清這兩者之間的矛盾，那將如何教導孩子呢？ 譬如說，教孩子是要教他做一個「世界公民」、「國際公民」、「全球公民」呢？還是從現在開始，就要強烈地教他做一個「中國人」？
