HKIEd Joy of Learning No.2, 2005

阿濃:「三十九年的教學事業中,我從沒一刻感到沉悶和刻板。」

阿濃從事教學多年,一直擔任訓導主任,但他非常堅持當班主任,擁有自己的學生-他眼中的「小天使」。只要你真心喜歡教學,教師的工作令你沒有一天感到沉悶。每年你都會接觸新的學生,小天使般渴望的眼神向你訴說一切-他們需要你的關愛和誘導。如果要認真認識每一個學生,教師又怎會沉悶呢?」

阿濃剛與一群舊學生重聚,他們有的兒女成群,有的事業顯赫。對教師來說,最大的鼓舞就是看見學生成長。在聚會上,學生告訴阿濃,他不經意的一句話曾意外地對兩位學生有甚深的啟發,並成為他們的座右銘。「我認為教師的角色不應局限於教室之內,教師應主動了解每一個學生。有一次,我在黑板寫上『教員』和『教完』,表示兩種截然不同的教學態度。學生都不約而同表示,這兩句話深深印在腦海,不時提醒他們應有的處事態度。」阿濃沒想到早已淡忘的生活小節竟對學生有如此深遠的影響,但這正說明教師的一言一行,對學生有無比的感染力。
