Professor Cheng Yin-cheong, Director of the Centre for Research and International Collaboration, remarked that other than experience gained, the leaps in the performance of the same cohort were attributable to the fact that HKIEd has equipped graduates with the necessary aptitudes as a teacher, as well as professional knowledge and skills, which laid the solid foundation for further enhancement in professionalism.
     
  Teacher training not only means imparting knowledge, but more importantly, the nurturing of one's passion and devotion to the profession. A positive attitude with lifelong scholarship helps our graduates to master subject knowledge and teaching skills.
