I-WELL Center held a teacher professional development Training Calendar System (TCS) activity entitled “Digital Education Pedagogical Series: Teaching Practice and Classroom Management with Artificial Intelligence: TeachTech+” on 15 July 2026. The workshop introduced how teachers can use TeachTech+ to support classroom analytics, classroom management, and professional reflection, through demonstrations and interactive tasks that showed how AI-driven teaching analytics can be integrated into everyday lesson preparation and classroom practice.
One of the key sessions was led by Prof. Leung Chi-hung, the Project Lead of TeachTech+, who shared pedagogical approaches and classroom management strategies, and demonstrated how to interpret the platform’s reports and translate AI-generated insights into actionable improvement steps. The workshop also featured a sharing session by Ms Tam, Mathematics Panel Head from Shatin Public School, who presented her school’s practical experience of using TeachTech+ in authentic teaching contexts. Her sharing helped participants understand how AI-generated analysis can support lesson planning, classroom observation, and teachers’ reflection on their own practice.
After the sharing sessions, participants joined a platform demonstration and group activities. They compared their professional evaluation of lesson plans with the AI-generated reports and discussed feasible directions for improvement, such as instructional design, classroom language and instructions, and group activity arrangements. Participants engaged actively throughout the session, and many commented that the workshop was well structured and smoothly delivered, enabling them to gain a clear understanding of how TeachTech+ can be applied in school-based contexts.
The activity is expected to help more frontline teachers learn about TeachTech+ and explore how AI can enhance teaching practice and classroom management.
