The ¡§Interdisciplinary and Creative Arts Education Summit¡¨ (ICAES) was successfully completed. |
Creativity is considered a ¡§critical¡¨ element of educationin the 21st-century knowledge-based economy and one of the crucial ¡§intangible assets¡¨ in the age of globalization. This five-day Summit will focus on current trends, contentions, issues and practices related to integrative arts, creativity, interdisciplinarity and enterprise in the Arts and contemporary culture.
Four Themes of this Summit:
1. Creativity and Context: Interdisciplinary Perspectives
2. Creativity, Leadership and Enterprise
3. The Future of Disciplines: Issues in Learning, Teaching & Assessment
4. Creativity and the Prosumer: Challenges for 21st-century Schooling & Parenting (Forum 4 & 5)
