1. Creativity and Context: Interdisciplinary Perspectives
³Ð³y¤O»P±¡¹Ò : ¸ó¾Ç¬ì¤§Æ[ÂI
(¤é´Á Date: 26/11/2008)
Culture can nurture and encourage or hinder and discourage creative behaviors and endeavors. Despite the widespread acknowledgement that creativity is important in a global knowledge economy, there are continued concerns that educational systems today are not producing graduates who are "creative". How do individual disciplines and cultures embrace and embody "creativity" in their practices? What could different disciplines and cultures learn from each other? How differently should creative education operate in different cultures?

2. Creativity, Leadership and Enterprise

(¤é´Á Date: 27/11/2008)
Education has been accused of being driven by the industry agenda and has become "commodified" to achieve employment and economic goals. There is some unease that this could threaten established fundamentals valued by cultures and disciplines. How compatible are industry and educational goals for creative education, the arts and culture? To what extent is education an "enterprise"? How might leadership in education and enterprise design and sustain an environment that effectively fosters creativity and cultural development? To what extent can there be ¡§creative industries¡¨? What role do the arts have?

3. The Future of Disciplines: Issues in Learning, Teaching & Assessment
¾Ç¬ìªº«e´º : ¾Ç²ß¡B±Ð¾Ç¤Îµû¦ô¤§Ä³ÃD
(¤é´Á Date: 28/11/2008)
The past 20 years have seen a trend towards multi-disciplinary education that features different disciplines with independent goals working in parallel. In many institutions of higher education, inter-disciplinary education that involves different disciplines collaborating together to set collective goals, plan, and make decisions have become the flavor of the day and are even used as a major selling point. What are the implications of interdisciplinary education for creative education and the arts? How might individual discipline "cultures" be affected by a shift to interdisciplinary education? How might interdisciplinary education impact upon established "cultures of practices" in learning, teaching and assessment? Where are the arts positioned and where should they be positioned in schooling?

4. Creativity and the Prosumer: Challenges for 21st-century Schooling & Parenting

Educators and parents are witnessing the evolution and effects of a social networking culture in an age of digital technologies. Many have become prosumers, 'producing consumers' who proactively draw together available information, technologies and services to produce customized 'products' for their own purposes. How similar are the creative practices found in today's education systems and those exemplified by prosumers and members of digital social networks? How relevant are prosumerism and digital social networking to 21st-century schooling and parenting? How should creative education and the arts prepare future leaders and teachers for the realities of digital social networking and the prosumer lifestyle?
