Dr Leung has been passionate about promoting active ageing throughout her career, and has extensive experience and expertise in Light Volleyball, including her and her team’s current project, “Light Volleyball for Older Adults: Classes and International Light Volleyball Competition”. The prior research relevant to this event was funded by the Research Impact Fund (approximately 7 million HKD), which aims to promote impactful research for the benefit of the wider community. This inaugural competition will hopefully be the first of many, encouraging older adults of both trained and grassroots level to actively engage in physical activities and conduct relevant research.
