research, GCIN (Global
Curriculum and Instruction Network) sees its mission as aligning leading scholars and leading higher
education institutes in the Asia-Pacific region to:
Enhance academic exchange among academics, education workers, stakeholders, and the public in the areas of curriculum and
instruction,
Foster quality teacher education through professional development activities, and
Nurture quality education that benefits students, schools, and the community as a whole.
Partnership institutes intend to undertake, within the framework of the regulations of each organization, subject to the
availability of resources:
To line up academics, faculty members and research team in their respective Institutes for scholarly work in the Global Curriculum and
 Instruction Network (GCIN),
To create synergies and explore new research initiatives and professional development activities for quality teacher education and
 student learning,
To co-organize the GCIN Conference on a bi-annual basis – taking turns in the hosting, and
To extend collaboration with other leading scholars and leading higher education institutes in the region.
