Eligibility and Application
Academic Requirements
Applicants are expected to meet the following academic requirements:
• a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 (on a 4.33 scale); or
• a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
English Language Proficiency
Applicants who are non-native English speakers will need to fulfil one of the following English language requirements and provide documentary proof when submitting their applications:
| TOEFL | Paper-based: minimum 550 Internet-based: minimum 80 (For exams taken before January 21, 2026) or minimum 4 (For exams taken on or after January 21, 2026) |
| IELTS | Minimum overall band of 6 in the academic version |
| Home Institution | A letter/ signed declaration from the home institution’s International Office certifying proficiency |
Nomination
Applicants must be nominated by the EdUHK's partner institutions to be eligible for a place in the programme .

Application
Applicants are REQUIRED to complete the online application (to be sent by EdUHK individually) and submit the following documents to EdUHK via GEMS before the deadline stipulated.
Required Documents – to be uploaded to GEMS:
• A scanned copy of official transcript issued by home institution
• A scanned copy of TOEFL/IELTS scoresheet or English Language Proficiency Endorsement Form (upon request)
