An ERP study on conflict resolution under the concurent conflicts of flanker, Stroop, and Simon effects
The curriculum of the Department of Psychology at the Education University of Hong Kong has always emphasised both theory and practice. Through individual guidance from research mentors, students in the Department of Psychology have hands-on experience with research-based learning, from thinking about research topics, designing research methods, carrying out research, analysing data, to writing reports. Students experience the entire research process.
Research-based learning provides students with a great deal of freedom and space to explore and discover new knowledge about the world. As students need to complete various tasks and collaborate with others, these valuable practical experiences can foster the development of communication skills. Research-based learning can effectively enhance students' self-discipline and independent thinking abilities. It requires students to plan their own time well, solve problems independently, and regularly review their work.
