Early Years Education

The Second Major in Early Years Education is designed to equip students with an understanding of socio-cultural, historical and political forces that influence early childhood development from both local and global perspectives. It provides opportunities for students taking both education programmes and non-education programmes as their first Major to become enriched in their knowledge of the key concepts which underpin early year’s education, in relation to childcare, preschool and lower primary settings.
