EDNU August Technical Workshop: Portable EEG & Frequency domain analysis Date: 20 Aug 2015 (THU) Time: 14:00 - 17:00 Venue: HKIEd Tai Po Campus B2-LP-01 Speaker: Jason Lo (Department of Special Education and Counselling, HKIEd) Abstract: Electroencephalogram (EEG) is one of the fastest-growing methodologies in neuropsychology. However, conventional EEG requires bulky laboratory set-up for data collection. Recently, portable EEG systems become more viable. In this workshop, we will introduce a research grade portable EEG system (Truscan32). We will also discuss how to analyze the EEG data, mainly focus on entry level frequency domain analysis (e.g. Spectral power, coherence). |
