Writing Skills for English Language Tests

Course Synopsis
This course aims to prepare students for international English writing tests. A wide range of academic text-types is studied for their structures and language functions, such as argument, discussion, description, report, graphical data, process, comparison, evaluation, etc. Students will also learn to write with greater flexibility in vocabulary and grammar by familiarizing themselves with the expectations and standards of selected international writing tests. Greater language awareness of their written output will also be developed in the analysis of one’s written language and correction of one’s language errors.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
