The Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) hosted an engaging seminar on 6 November 2025, exploring how AI transforms research, teaching, and knowledge transfer.
Industry experts Mr Ben Chan and Mr James Liu from BytePlus shared practical applications of AI in data analysis, multilingual processing, and instructional design. The session highlighted how AI accelerates research insights, creates interactive learning platforms, and transforms academic work into market-ready solutions.
The seminar was facilitated by Dr Kevin Yung, Associate Professor and Associate Head of C&I, and Mr Gary Tang, EdD student of C&I and Chairperson of Royal Learning Group Limited. It brought together scholars and students to envision AI-driven innovation in education and discuss strategies for successful knowledge transfer and industry collaboration.
