What You Can Do
to Maximize Your Learning
1. Commit time and energy not only to maximizing your learning
but also to that of your colleagues.
2. Organize your schedule so that you can attend all blue skies
events, both pre- and self-scheduled. In other words, you will
manage your own time, rather than allowing other factors to
drive what your are going to do.
3. Engage actively in your Learning Square and kept in close
contact with your Sponsor.
4. Keep up-to-date with your learning record and use these as an
avenue for meaningful reflection.
5. See your learning as an integral part of your job as a principal
rather than as an ‘add-on’, or something that you ‘have to do’.
