Content

This   mass lecture will focus on Implementation Science and why equity-focused   implementation is critical for health, social care and educational outcomes,   and will provide an overview of our SEMPRE program of research.

This   workshop focuses on embedding equity principles into program design,   implementation, and evaluation. The workshop will introduce the steps   of Intervention Mapping–Equity (IM-E) and provide opportunities for   participants to consider how this structured approach can strengthen the   intervention design work they currently undertake. By the end of the   session, participants will have a clearer understanding of how to design and   implement programs that promote fairness, reduce inequities, and improve   outcomes for priority populations.

This   workshop examines why psychosocial and neuroscience-based interventions that   demonstrate strong evidence often struggle to achieve real-world impact.   Drawing on implementation science, it will explore how we design and evaluate   interventions not only for effectiveness, but also for adoption, feasibility,   and sustainability. The session will include extended discussion on the   challenges and opportunities of implementing such interventions in education   and mental health contexts.
