NIRScoutX 16-16

The NIRScout is a lab-based, user-friendly, modular, and a robust functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) platform which measures hemodynamic responses to neuroactivation via oxy-, deoxy-, and total hemoglobin changes in the cerebral cortex. The equipment employs parallel readout of multiple optical detector channels, which could be freely placed anywhere on the scalp. It utilizes LED emitters at two distinct wavelengths to discriminate the two oxygenation states of brain hemoglobin. It is friendly for both adult and children. It could be used to study various cognitive processes such as attention, memory, language processing, and decision-making. It helps researchers to understand how different brain regions interact during these cognitive tasks. It also could be used to investigate brain development in infants and children. It helps researchers understand how neural networks and cognitive abilities change over time, providing insights into typical and atypical brain development.
NIRSport2 32-32

NIRSport2 is a lightweight portable and high-performance functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) system to measure hemodynamic neuor-activation in the cerebral cortex using dual-wavelength continuous-wave near infrared (NIR). Using LED emitters at two distinct wavelengths allows discrimination of the two oxygenation states of brain hemoglobin. It also uses innovative active optical sensors which are placed directly on the scalp, and it is friendly for both children and adult. It could be wireless connected, which offers considerable versatility in motion-based applications. It allows to measure the brain activity in the natural environment settings. The NIRSport2 allows to do hyperscanning, which simultaneously records the neural activity of two people. The hyperscanning allows the researchers to investigate brain-to-brain synchrony and neural coordination during social interactions, such as the brain activity of the teacher and the student. It helps understand how individuals' brain activity aligns and influences each other during conversations, cooperation, or other social tasks. |
