打工是副業,正職是做人 - 莊偉忠先生 生涯及職業教育講座 (12 May 2016)

On 12 May 2016, Mr. Daniel Chong, ex-CEO of YATA Department Store, gave an inspiring talk on career development as part of our career seminar series, attracting about 220 EdUHK and secondary school students, teachers, and other participants.

The seminar was held at the Tai Po Campus of the Hong Kong Institute of Education.

Mr. Chong gave valuable advice with regards to study life, work life, and making good career choices.

 

About 220 participants attended the seminar, including EdUHK staff and students, as well as members from education and other sectors.

 

Students from 5 different secondary schools were also in attendance.

 

Mr. Chong shared many of his unique philosophies towards work and gave examples of his unconventional management style.

 

“There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit.”
