Aims

The overarching aims of the international symposium are to (1) provide a multidisciplinary platform for discussion and debate among university students, academics, schoolteachers, and practitioners on well-being in special educational needs; (2) raise awareness of the importance of improving well-being for students with special educational needs; and (3) widen university students’ exposure to international perspectives. We are committed to diversity and sharing the benefits of internationalisation.

Objectives

  • To facilitate opportunities for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas across various disciplines, stakeholders, and institutions;
  • To share new initiatives and strategies for improving well-being for students with special educational needs;
  • To debate and identify gaps for conducting research into optimising well-being for students with special educational needs; and
  • To provide a platform for university students to present their work with poster presentations.
