Breathy's artisanal eco-friendly candles are crafted with premium fragrances and designed to enhance wellbeing. They are the brainchild of entrepreneur Hung Nok-yan, a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Family Studies student.
After battling depression and anxiety, Nok-yan found new passions in candle making and aromatherapy courses. Her experiences inspired her to launch Breathy. "Breathy = Breathe In + Wavy" symbolises the ebb and flow of life, reflecting Nok-yan's commitment to self-care.
Nok-yan acknowledges EdUHK's support through the Education⁺ and Social Entrepreneurs (EASE) Fund Scheme, markets, and entrepreneurship programmes as instrumental in achieving her goals. Their backing has elevated her entrepreneurial spirit to new heights.
