Student Emotional State Self-assessment

Student Emotional State Self-assessment (SES Self-assessment)

Every year, the Counselling Services will launch a campus-wide Student Emotional State Self-assessment (SES Self-assessment) to have better understanding on students’ psychological health and invite needy students to meet Counsellors.

SES Self-assessment is designed with two assessment tools which are the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21) and the Sleep Condition Indicator (SCI). It is a self-test which aims to assess students’ level of negative mood and stress, and also measures sleep problems while sleep problems are the risk factors of depression.

Students may also login with the EdUHK account to complete the SES Self-assessment here to learn more about their recent emotion state.

After completion of SES Self-assessment, our counsellors will contact you to discuss about your emotional state. The results of this questionnaire will also be used for counseling service planning.   All information will be kept strictly confidential.

If you would like to know more about SES Self-assessment, you can contact Counselling Services at 2948 6245 or email to sessa@eduhk.hk.
