“Mental Health First Aid" training is initiated by experienced mental health research and education experts.
Through this training, students are equipped with knowledge and skills in supporting persons who are developing mental illness or are in a mental health crisis. Students will learn to help those in need for early identification for the problem, assess the risk, provide immediate support, and encourage them to receive professional help.
Students who complete the course will be issued “Mental Health First Aid Course Certificate”. This is the certificate in Hong Kong acknowledged by the Mental Health First Aid International. We hope our trained students to spread their care and support to peers around, and raise the awareness of mental health issue in the EdUHK community.
