Education Bureau (EDB) announced that, starting from the 2022/23 school year, newly-appointed teachers in all public sector schools are required to pass the BLT in order to be considered for appointment. Final year students of ALL Bachelor of Education and Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programmes and any other students, who meet the eligibility below, are strongly recommended to click this hyperlink -> “Apply Now” for BLT on 8 January 2022 (Saturday). Details of BLT are summarized in the table below for your easy reference and action.
Eligibility 1) Applicants will be arranged to sit for the test at one of their chosen test centres and sessions on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants will be notified of the application results and test details on or before 29 December 2021 by email. Any requests for change of test centre/ session will not be considered
2) Another round of BLT is tentatively scheduled to be held in February 2022. Details and arrangements of application will be announced in due course. Applicants who have sat for the BLT on 8 January 2022 and obtained a pass result will not be allowed to apply again for sitting for another round of BLT tentatively scheduled to be held in February 2022
3) Candidates will be notified of their test results by post within one month after the test |
