Online job-search engine and job information
“Ed Job Plus” – EdUHK’s exclusive job information system – is equipped with comprehensive and one-stop online recruitment functions which allow students to post up resumes, browse job information and apply for jobs. At the same time, employers can post up job openings, receive job applications online and contact suitable candidates for selection.
Online Job Search Skill training modules
To fit in students’ busy study schedule, an online job seeking skill learning package “It’s Your Job” is available for students to prepare for job search at their own pace. Upcoming events such as workshops are posted on the website of SAO and intranet.
Career Workshop / Talk / Seminar
Aptitude Test, CV and Cover Letter Training Workshop, Job Interviewing Skills Training, Current Affairs Discussion Group, Employers’ Recruitment Talks, Business Executive Preparation Series, Student Career Development Certificate Course, etc. are organized for all students to enhance their exposure, career preparation and job seeking skills.
Tailor-made career training activities for PG students
Tailored talks and workshops on Career Planning, CV and Cover Letter Writing, Job Search Strategy, Group Career Consultation session, etc for PG students are organized from time to time.
Free and confidential individual counseling sessions are offered where students are always welcome to come and talk to counselors about concerns related to study and career planning issues.

Other quick links are provided on the “Ed Job Plus” website. Starting in Semester II, monthly Careers e-Newsletter and Weekly “Hot Jobs of the Week” are sent to students with latest career advices, recruitment news and employer/alumni interviews.
Career Planning Tools (Job matching technique)
Psychological testing & assessment aims to assist students understand themselves and enhance their ability to achieve their goals. Different types of psychological tests/inventories are provided to suit students’ personal needs in career i.e. Careers Dimensions, self-directed search MBTI.
Internship opportunities open to PG students will be announced and support given to polish their application documents if needed. For off-shore placements, assistance will be provided e.g. visa application, list of hostels, briefing.
