Held on the Lingnan University campus, the symposium was a Professor Tikki Pang, Visiting Professor at the Lee Kuan
jointly organised event led by the Hong Kong APEC Study Centre Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of
(APECSC) of EdUHK and supported by the Centre for Asian Pacific Singapore
Studies at Lingnan University.
Professor Darryl Jarvis, Director of APECSC, welcomed the
opportunity to host the symposium, stating that “the rapidly
changing contours of the global health care landscape offer
implications for regional cooperation and human wellbeing”.
Also in attendance to deliver welcoming remarks were Professor
Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice President of Lingnan University; and
Mr Chris Sun Yuk-han, Head of the Healthcare Planning and
Development Office of the Food and Health Bureau.
At the symposium, Professor Tikki Pang, Visiting Professor in the
Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University
of Singapore, comprehensively discussed his topic, “Dealing
